Relatório de Sustentabilidade consolida o propósito da Fiagril e visão de futuro

Fiagril announces another step towards the best practices of Corporate Governance and transparency to the market, starting a new phase of corporate reporting. This phase begins with the issuing of the Sustainability Report, where the company reflects the main actions and indicators based on its purpose of “transforming lives, connecting sustainable production with the world”.

As of 2021, the compilation will be done on an annual basis, observing all GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards and indicators. “We intend to go further, developing the best practices available, placing us among the best companies in the market in which we operate,” says CEO Henrique Mazzardo. Through this tool the company seeks, above all, to show its commitment to the stakeholders of the production chain, in order to deliver to producers and to the market the best sustainable food production technologies and practices. “We understand that this is the best way to add value to the agribusiness and generate positive impacts on the communities where we operate,” says Henrique.

Important treaties that show the company’s commitment to environmental preservation actions can also be found in the term. Among them, the Soy Moratorium, Soja Plus Program, Tesouro Verde, Seals and Verifications, and the Compliance Program, among others. “It is the highest level of transparency with all partners and society,” said the company’s CEO.

Fiagril is a company that has been operating in the agribusiness market for over 33 years, having started its operations in the State of Mato Grosso. Today, it also operates in the States of Amapá and Tocantins, adding a total of 31 units, 480 employees, and more than three thousand customers. Among the products and services offered, the highlights are solutions for crops with a complete portfolio of inputs, grain origination and export, and biodiesel production. “The State of Mato Grosso has become a forefront region in agribusiness, being currently the largest producer of soy, corn, cotton and animal protein. And we are part of this great movement,” concluded CEO Henrique Mazzardo.
