Fortalecendo sua marca e propósito, Fiagril comemora 34 anos

34 years ago, on November 23, Fiagril was founded in the Municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde, bringing to the State of Mato Grosso the expertise in grain origination with safety, agility and transparency. With more than three decades of operations, the company has consolidated itself as a reference in supply and technical assistance for inputs, besides having a biodiesel plant. In all, there are 21 units in the States of Mato Grosso, Tocantins, and Amapá.

A forerunner in the Barter operation with soybeans and corn, it invests in the relationship of proximity and trust with its customers. In this way, the producer acquires everything he needs to plant the crop, from seeds to nutrients, and can stay focused on production.

Technical assistance is another differential of Fiagril. A team of agronomists travels to the properties making recommendations on special nutrition, products developed with the highest technology and innovation in the market, contributing to the success of the crops.

In 2021, the company launched its new brand and its purpose to “transform lives by connecting sustainable production with the world.”

A signatory of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Fiagril is committed to sustainability. This year, in partnership with the Municipal Government of Lucas do Rio Verde, through the Secretariat of Environment and the Association of Recyclable Material Collectors (Acorlucas), Fiagril signed an agreement for the development of the project “De Olho no Óleo [With an Eye on Cooking Oil], aiming to provide the correct disposal of used cooking oil in Lucas do Rio Verde (334 km from Cuiabá). The proposal is to allow the collected material, which is highly polluting, to be transformed into biodiesel at the company’s plant in the Municipality, thus becoming a source of sustainable energy.

Within the tripod of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG), the community is always guided by Fiagril’s actions. One of them is seeking to stimulate sports and citizen education for young people in Lucas do Rio Verde, supporting the creation of the first Soccer School of the Luverdense Esporte Clube (LEC). The project serves children and teenagers between the ages of 7 and 15 with classes in the bairros Campos dos Bandeirantes, Tessele Junior, Cerrado and Rio Verde.
