Psychological health of employees, citizenship, human and organizational development and people management were the topics evaluated in the 2nd edition of the Excellence in People Management Award, developed by the magazine Gestão RH in partnership with the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in Company. Fiagril was highlighted in the national ranking of the 10+ in Human Capital Investment, reaching 9th rank.
The company from the State of Mato Grosso, which will be 35 years old in 2022, is made up of more than 450 employees spread throughout its branches in the States of Mato Grosso and Tocantins. “I always say that we are people who transform people. And this transformation is done in partnership, we learn together, we understand each other, we connect, and this is how we transform. This word – transform- is one of the bases of Fiagril’s purpose. And to transform lives, connecting sustainable production to the world, a company needs people, it needs protagonists. And Fiagril’s main focus when we talk about people is to attract, retain and develop our people”, explains Fiagril’s People & Management director, Dioneia Canci.
The director also points out that 2021 was a challenging year for the company, especially in the area of people, for having very bold challenges and goals. To ensure improvements, Fiagril invested in improving processes, with an integrated platform for human capital management, besides reviewing the model of Attraction, Retention and Integrated Reward. All this without leaving aside the actions aimed at the prevention of coronavirus and the well-being of employees and their families and the investment in the development of employees, providing courses, improvement programs, enhancing skills and knowledge and thus preparing its team for the changes and demands that the market demands from the company.
The survey seeks to map in depth the organizations that have effective practices in four areas simultaneously. In addition to mapping people management practices and evaluating the degree of investment in human capital, the survey aims to identify strategies and trends; correlate people management practices, the degree of employee engagement, and company performance; and identify the companies with the best HR management according to different criteria. In the overall, 44 companies were finalists. The goal is to contribute to the development of companies in the Country, identifying good practices and thereby encouraging organizational learning through the benchmarking process and recognizing the organizations that have the best performance.
