Fiagril recebe homenagem por 10 anos de contribuição para o desenvolvimento do Tocantins

The State now has one storage unit and 3 stores.

Ten years ago, Tocantins was chosen as the first State for Fiagril’s expansion beyond the territory of Mato Grosso. Today, there are three commercial stores and a warehouse, which meet the demand of rural producers in the region, providing products and technical assistance services for the agricultural sector.

The first City to receive one of the branches was Gurupi, 214 km from Palmas. Other units are also operating in Porto Nacional and Guaraí. Besides these units, it also operates in Silvanópolis, which has a soy and grain storage unit, with a capacity of 57 thousand tons.

Rony Melchior, the regional input manager in Tocantins, says that Fiagril brought greater possibilities for business strategy and better storage structure to the State. “We operate in the relationship with the producer and focus strongly on technical assistance and presence in the field,” he points out.

The hallmark, Melchior points out, is that in addition to the sale of inputs and services, Fiagril is by the side of the rural producers in all production steps. “There is this factor that makes us stand out: it is a process that supports the customer. And we brought this important infrastructure in storage for local producers,” he said.

For Fiagril’s commercial director, Marcos Castro, Tocantins expansion highlights the company as an agent of change in the agribusiness scenario. “We contribute to the development of agriculture and always protect the producers in the storage and trade of their productions.

Fiagril operates from the origination of grains, distribution of agricultural inputs, besides the production of biodiesel. Founded 33 years ago in the Municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde (329 km from Cuiabá), it has 26 units and about two thousand customers.
