Our History

Fiagril started its activities in 1987 as Fornecedora de Insumos Agrícolas Ltda., in the Municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde (MT). Its beginning denotes the time when the State of Mato Grosso embraced its vocation for grain production, when families of farmers arrived in the region with new life projects. One of these families is the rural producer, Marino José Franz, a rural man, and founder of Fiagril.

A pioneer in the Barter operation with soy and corn, in 2007, the company expanded its business with the opening of the biodiesel plant, in Lucas do Rio Verde, with a production capacity of 202 million liters per year.

In 2016, Fiagril came under the control of the Chinese group Pengdu Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, but without losing its essence of proximity and trust with the farmer.
